[0:10~] Shannon Boxx. Penalty number one. Hits the face of the post. Arms are raised from the Japanese goal keeper who got there with a trailing leg. I thought actually she hit the post but it's the trailing leg of goal keeper Kaihori that kicks the ball out.

[0:40~] Miyama, who got the first equalizer(同点ゴール), is the dead ball specialist(セットプレーのスペシャリスト) for the Japanese. Right-footed interestingly. Puff on the cheeks. Hope Solo tries to put her off. Miyama slotted in. Solo barely moved.

[1:21~] What an amazing test it is. Up steps Carli Lloyd for the United States of America, wearing number 10, famous shirt number(背番号). Oh, *** high on the bar and she can not believe it. The dream is slipping away for USA. Two misses out of two. Not the sort of 100% record they were looking for. Goal keeper Kaihori was not troubled on that occasion.

[2:51~] The United States still haven't scored a single penalty. That is a horrid, horrid moment for the 23-year-old, who plays for the Sky Blue Club, and she is blue at this moment. *** *** three successes. And yet the penalty shoot out(PK戦) is pretty much alive because Japan has converted only one of their two.

[4:00~] Wambach scores! Abby Wambach at last puts the ball in the net for the United States. They've got one back, from Wambach. (ワンバック、ワンバックのダジャレ) It's 2-1 Japan, and if this one goes in Japan will win the world cup.

[4:19~] Remember, they lost their defender, sent off in the closing moments of the game, but now the opportunity is here for Saki Kumagai, from Urawa Reds Club, to make history. Kumagai for Japan. This to make it 3-1 and to win the world cup for Japan. Hope Solo plays a little game. She comes up the line. A prayer, I suspect, from Kumagai. ・・・ And the World Cup for Japan! They have re-written the history book in Germany. The first Asian champions. Their first attempt in the final. They were behind twice. They are delirious(大喜びしている), and Homare Sawa there, who didn't have to take a penalty, celebrates with the rest. Unforgettable scenes in Frankfurt. Quite astonishing triumph(勝利) for the Asian nation. And away goes the coach to celebrate with, Norio Sasaki, the 43-year-old, to see his team here triumph against all the odds(あらゆる予想をくつがえして). Hope Solo is inconsolable(悲しみに沈んでいる). Japan, beat New Zealand, they beat Mexico, they beat Germany, they beat Sweden. Now they have beaten the overwhelming favorite(大本命) the United States of America to become the best in the world.

ついでに、同じ放送のゴールシーン集も貼り付けておきます。よく見てみると、アメリカの2回のゴールのとき、熊谷選手はどちらもあと一歩のところだったので、最後のPKを決めてすっきりしただろうなあと思います。
